“ADORABILE” High Quality Prague Cooked Ham

Smoked cooked hams

We use only the best pork legs, carefully selected. We flavor them with our natural infusion prepared exclusively with spices and aromatic plants, the fruit of the recipe created by Luigi Vida in 1966. After a long massaging and maturation phase, during which the thighs acquire our taste and the softness typical of High Quality Hams, they are molded into molds by the skilled hands of our pork butchers, and subjected to a first and slow phase of steaming, to maintain fragrance and organoleptic qualities. The second cooking phase, on the other hand, is dedicated to smoking using special woody essences composed mainly of dried natural beech chips and juniper berries.

The exterior browning is slightly amber, the result of the final smoking. On the other hand, the interior is pinkish, soft and with a firm slice, able to melt in the mouth like a true High Quality ham. It is sweet and delicately smoked on the palate.

Selected pork legs, Vida infusion of natural spices and herbs, molding out of molds by hand, slow steaming for more than 20 hours, smoking with fine woody essences, and a lot of passion in making cured meats since 1966.

Without

processing aids, added polyphosphates, gluten, milk derivatives and caseinates, starches or starch, GMOs. It also does not contain substances or products that cause allergies or intolerances according to Annex III of Reg. (EU) 1169/2011. Our "ADORABILE" Cooked Ham is a High Quality Ham: therefore with low content of preservatives and antioxidants. Therefore, once opened it should be cut and consumed as quickly as possible, taking care to store it at a temperature between 0° and 4°. It can also be placed in vacuum or atm, extending its natural shelf life by a few days.

Degustazione e abbinamento

In order for it to release the typical aromas of cooking, "ADORABILE" Prosciutto should be eaten cold and thinly sliced with a slicing machine. We recommend pairing it with rosé or red wines such as Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon, which better enhance its flavors.
